Work opportunities, a need to explore, and a deep curiosity about other people and places have driven me far from home – the land of magnolias, sweet tea, and the world’s best pork barbeque. (Technically, I don’t eat red meat, so that last one might not matter so much.)
I met my partner in crime the year before my first grandchild was born, and we have explored and adventured together, finally settling in the Mile-High City. He’s the smartest person I’ve ever met, and you’ll find his blog posts on here from time to time.
This site is being created mainly so I can learn how to do it. Secondarily, I have a love of veggie and vegan food – and I’d like to feature the wonderful blogs of those whose recipes make me happy.
